Voyageur Airways is being bought by Chorus Aviation Inc. in an 80-million dollar deal. Voyageur provides specialised aviation services, including contract flying operations around the world, from their headquarters in North Bay. Their 200-thousand square foot facility is up by the airport, and holds the parking room for up to 65 regional aircrafts. Chorus Aviation Inc is acquiring all outstanding shares of Voyageur’s head company, called Ontario Limited. In a statement, the President of Voyageur says that the North Bay community is very important to him, and that they’ve found a great fit with Chorus because they share the same vision and values.
