Tractor-trailer fuel spill slows bypass traffic

Traffic is slowly moving in one westbound lane on the Highway 11/17 bypass, east of the Cassells/Trout Lake Road intersection.

NBFES says a tractor-trailer’s broken driveshaft caused a fuel spill and to expect all lanes to be fully restored mid-afternoon Tuesday once clean up of the spill is complete.

Traffic lanes on the 11/17 bypass should be fully restored by mid-afternoon today. (Stu Campaigne, MyNorthBayNow.com staff)
