A Tuesday afternoon robbery has led to criminal charges for a 21-year-old North Bay man.
North Bay Police Service says the accused entered a store just after 4:00 p.m. in the 200 block of Lakeshore Drive. When he tried to leave with unpaid items, an employee approached the man, who then assaulted the employee.
Officers report the accused was restrained until police arrived.
The 21-year-old has been charged with:
- One count of robbery
- One count of breach of probation
He has remained in custody and will attend a bail hearing tomorrow at the North Bay courthouse.
