The Tory MPP for Nipissing says Premier Kathleen Wynne will promise whatever it takes to stay in power. Vic Fedeli was reacting to news that Wynne has no plans to create a new tax to pay for GTA transit upgrades. Fedeli says it’s a pre-election promise designed to get the Liberals re-elected. He says Liberals do the opposite of what they promise like Dalton McGunity proved when he introduced the health premium tax after becoming Premier. Fedeli says the transit upgrades will cost $2 billion annually and he wants to know where the money will come from if Wynne isn’t taxing us to get it.
