The annual ice removal off Parks Creek near Lakeshore Drive is set to begin early next week. The North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority is warning to the public and snowmobilers to stay clear of the creek. The ice removal is a flood control precaution as temperatures rise. The ice will be piled on the banks of Parks Creek where it will slowly melt.
