Downtown North Bay: if you shop, shop safely

Aside from shopping for groceries and yes, in a lot of cases, toilet paper, shopping might not be on top of everyone’s mind at this time.

However, if you choose to shop, Downtown North Bay is asking that you do it with your own safety and the safety of others in mind. Some downtown businesses and service providers have indicated they are adapting their services, including an over the phone order and drop off at your vehicle.

“We hope that as much as possible, our community will consider supporting small businesses and shop locally since small businesses are such a big part of the overall economic engine that drives our local economy,” says Downtown North Bay.

Downtown North Bay Board Chair Michelle Trudeau adds, “Please support local and downtown as much as you can, and keep safety for yourself and others top of mind. And know that we will all get through this together.”
