The North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority says spring melt conditions are “so far so good” for the area. The Authority said in a statement that even though temperatures are below normal for spring time, they are actually ideal for the slow release of water from the snow pack. Snow depths in the North Bay area still remain 55% per cent higher than normal.
