On Tuesday it was announced the Innergex were putting a stop to a proposed wind farm project in Mattawa. Now Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli wants to squash their proposal for a wind farm in Merrick Township, right next to North Bay. He’s holding a public town hall meeting on the wind farm next Tuesday at the Davedi Club. Concerns have already been voiced by the mayor and other local politicians about the wind farms proximity to North Bay’s airport.
