City staff to make deliveries for those at risk

The City of North Bay is stepping up for those who need help the most during this uncertain time.

The City says they will be making staff available for deliveries of groceries, and other essential items for seniors, people with disabilities, or others who may be without someone to assist them.

Those in need of the service can call Crystal McLeod at 705-474-0626 ext. 2329, or email [email protected].

The service is available Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and groceries must be prepaid. Anyone participating will be asked for their name, address, phone number, and grocery store location. In order to maintain physical distancing, drivers will be delivering groceries to the recipient’s doors. There, they will be called and notified of the delivery.
