For those who want to help during the COVID-19 pandemic, but don’t know-how, the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) Foundation has set up ways you can offer assistance.
“There are two ways you can help your hospital right now,” Kendra Clark, the development officer for the NBRHC Foundation. “We have set up a COVID-19 urgent response fund to help the hospital respond to any unforeseen demands and needs COVID-19 will have on the community and maintain care for all patients. People are already giving generously so thank you very much.”
“There are also opportunities for businesses and industries that have supplies they can spare of personal protective equipment,” she continued. “That includes medical gloves, masks, goggles, and hand sanitizer. So many have already stepped forward to donate supplies.”
