Designated driver charged with booze infraction

A North Bay area man who was a designated driver faces alcohol related charges after being stopped at a R.I.D.E. checkpoint. When OPP stopped the 22-year-old from East Ferris he told them he hadn’t been drinking because he was the D.D.  However just the opposite was true and the young man was charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.         The man’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and he’s lost his license for three months.
