North Bay Police Service is reminding you to “lock it or lose it.”

Police say over the weekend they received three theft from vehicle complaints. The complaints came from two areas of the city, Wallace Heights and Pinewood. Stolen property included loose change, a wallet, and a pocket knife.

With the warmer weather, officials say take the time to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim of a crime. The “lock it or lose it” program highlights habits that can help you reduce crime such as locking your vehicle, making sure your bicycle secured or doing a visual of your property to ensure your possessions are properly stored.
