North Bay Hydro is advising residents of a new scam circulating in the community.
Officials say the scam involves residents being called and told that North Bay Hydro is on their way to their home to disconnect hydro within 30 minutes unless you pay over the phone.
Hydro officials add they have taken steps, along with the Ontario Energy Board to ensure that no one will lose power to their home or small business because of non-payments until July 31.
