Local curve ‘smashed’ says North Bay Mayor

More good news from the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.

As of today, at 3:00 p.m., the local numbers stood at 16 confirmed cases, with 15 now listed as resolved. However, the remaining positive case is listed as hospitalized. There have been 1,636 tests conducted.

“Hey North Bay, you didn’t just flatten the curve, you smashed it! This speaks to our community resolve and spirit to help one another and shows your great respect for our frontline workers,” Mayor Al McDonald said in his daily Facebook update. “We may still, and are more likely to get more cases positive cases, so please do not get down, you are doing amazing.”

“Please don’t let your guard down now, it’s still a present danger,” he continued. “We have come too far to start over. The sooner we get through this, the sooner we can get life back to as close as normal as possible.”
