Officials say a search warrant executed by the North Bay Police Service and OPP has seen approximately $28,060 of drugs taken off the streets.
Police say the investigation brought them to a home on Thelma Avenue late Thursday afternoon. There, the four accused were located and arrested. The search of the home resulted in police seizing:
- 1,126 suspected methamphetamine pills
- Approximately 49 grams of suspected Fentanyl
- 37 suspected Suboxone pills
- 36 suspected Xanax pills
- Approximately 7.4 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
- Approximately 6 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- $3,215 in Canadian currency
Officers say one of the accused, a 36-year-old woman from North Bay was not abiding by provincial guidelines by hosting a gathering of over five people. She has been issued a provincial offence because of the violation.
She has been charged with:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine, fentanyl,
Suboxone, and Xanax)
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
- One count of breach of probation
Another 36-year-old from North Bay faces charges of:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine, fentanyl, Suboxone, and Xanax)
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
A 19-year-old from North Bay has been charged with:
- Four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine, fentanyl,
Suboxone, and Xanax)
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
Lastly, a 25-year-old from Toronto has been charged with:
- One count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl)
- One count of Trafficking (fentanyl)
- One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime
Police say the four remain in custody pending a bail hearing in North Bay.
