Nipissing West OPP is investigating a sudden death of a man, but say foul play is not suspected.
Officials say on Saturday police and the West Nipissing Emergency Medical Services responded to a call of a possible drowning on Lake Nipissing near Lavigne. The victim, 62-year-old Gregory Hicks was found in the water inside a boathouse and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the investigation is ongoing under the direction of the Office of the Chief Coroner, and Forensic Pathology Service.
