A Sturgeon Falls man is in hospital with serious injuries today after being struck by a transport truck. The man was walking over the Sturgeon River Bridge when he was hit. Police are investigating whether the man may have been crossing the four lane bridge when the crash happened. They say no charges will be laid in the incident. The man is in hospital in Sudbury with serious head injuries.
