North Bay Police Service says an outstanding warrant has led to additional charges against a North Bay resident.
Officers say early Tuesday morning they found the 33-year-year old walking along a sidewalk on Cassells Street. The accused was violating a previous release order and was also wanted for an existing arrest warrant related to a business break and enter in town earlier this year.
Police say a search of the 33-year-old’s backpack during the arrest resulted in a laptop and other electrical equipment that was related to two other business break and enters reported in April.
The accused has been charged with:
- One count of Breach of an Undertaking
- Two counts of Break and Enter
- One count of Possession of Stolen Property
The investigation is ongoing and the accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
