North Bay OPP says an early morning fire in Mattawa has left one person in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the blaze happened at the corner of Park and Mattawan Street in a multi-family structure, or row house. Mattawa Fire Department officials say the fire was contained to one unit, but four families will be displaced because of the damage.
Mattawan Street has been closed for the time being.
The investigation is ongoing and the Office of the Fire Marshal will be attending the scene to assist.
