The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting some new cases of COVID-19 in the area.
Health unit officials say the total of positive cases in the area now stands at 25, with one death, as of Tuesday afternoon. There are five people currently isolating. The resolved number has gone up as well and now sits at 19 resolved cases.
Four of the five cases are between the ages of 20 and 59, with one listed as 19 and younger. Officials say all were because of community spread.

When splitting the case numbers into their individual districts, 18 of the 25 have come in the Nipissing area, with seven listed in Parry Sound.
