The owner of a Doberman who refused to turn him over to the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit will have his contempt of court hearing today. Rob Szalas was charged with contempt of court after he refused to turn over his Doberman Dunaj to be put down. Dunaj was ordered destroyed by the Health Unit in December after being accused of biting four different people over 20-months. The dog is currently in the hands of a pet advocacy group in New York.
