OPP find trailer stolen two years ago during investigation

North Bay OPP says they have found a trailer that was stolen from Bracebridge in 2018.

Police say they were called to a home in Papineau-Cameron Township to investigate a neighbour dispute. During the investigation, officers saw the utility trailer and realized it was the same one that had been reported stolen two years ago in Bracebridge.

Officers say they towed the trailer away, and when the property owners returned, they called the police to report the trailer stolen.

A 28-year-old from Papineau-Cameron Township has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 and Public Mischief.

The accused has been released and will answer to the charges on July 8 in Mattawa.
