North Bay OPP says they have taken over $12,000 worth of drugs off the streets, along with an additional $1,800 in cash thanks to a recent search warrant.
Officials say the search warrant was executed on a home on Gorman Street in North Bay. This was the second search warrant used at the home in a two week period.
As a result, three people from North Bay were arrested. A 35-year-old was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
A 30-year-old faces the charges of:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
And a 22-year-old has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
All three remain in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP Community Street Crime Unit, Ontario Crime Enforcement Bureau, North Bay OPP and North Bay Police Service worked together on the investigation.
