The North Bay Heritage Railway and Carousel Company have pulled the plug on the 2020 season.
Citing the COVID-19 restrictions, officials say the season would be impossible to operate this summer. With physical distancing requirements in place, it would limit the capacity on the train and carousel, and the rides would need to be sanitized between each ride.
Officials add that the organization is looking forward to reopening for the 2021 season. The train has run every summer at the waterfront since 1994.
