City hopes to open more public washrooms

The City of North Bay says it is working to open more public washrooms.

Officials say they are hoping to open the washrooms at Marathon Beach and Lee Park with increased cleaning. Residents using public washrooms are asked to maintain a distance of two metres or six feet from others at all times while waiting in line, and should wash hands or use hand sanitizer.

Washrooms at the Lake Nipissing marina have already been opened.

Officials add that another update will be provided when the facilities are ready to open.
