ATV rollover results in impaired charges for Mattawa resident

A Mattawa resident has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs after rolling over an ATV, according to the North Bay OPP.

Police say on the evening of May 11, they were called to the incident on Highway 630 in Calvin Township. During the investigation, it was found that the driver had sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say the accused has been released. The 43-year-old will answer to charges before court on July 8 in Mattawa.
