Arrest made after multiple break-ins

The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 35-year-old North Bay man in connection with three robberies happening days apart.

The investigation says that on July 16, a business on Mcintyre St. was broken into and had $30,000 worth of electronic equipment stolen. While investigating that break-in, police responded to another theft on July 18 on Hammond St, while also getting reports of stolen goods from a business on Fraser St.

The police investigation concluded that all of the break-ins were done by the same man, who was arrested on July 21.

The man has been charged with:

  • One count of Break and Enter

  • One count of Theft Under $5000

  • One count of Theft Over $5000

The North Bay Police Service wants to remind businesses that quality video surveillance footage can greatly impact court proceedings.
