Residents of River Valley had no phone service after someone cut the lines Thursday. The act of mischief kept West Nipissing police officers in the village in case of an emergency and the local fire station was kept staffed. Bell expected to have service restored on Friday. West Nipissing police say if anyone knows who cut the lines to call them at 753-1234.
