North Bay OPP charges 29th impaired driver

On Aug. 1 at around 11:30 pm, North Bay OPP officers responded to a single-vehicle ATV rollover on Pioneer Road in Boulter Township. The driver had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

An investigation led to the man being arrested for impaired driving.

As a result, a 20-year-old Bonfield man was charged with operation while impaired.

The accused was released and will appear in North Bay court on October 6.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the driver’s license was subject to a 90-day suspension.

The OPP is reminding the public that if you suspect someone is driving or about to drive impaired by either alcohol or drugs, please call 911.
