Capitol Centre’s virtual concert series continues

The Capitol Centre’s Sharedbenefit Summer Concert Series continues on August 6 with the acoustic duo, cAbiners.

This will be the second time the band has performed through the Capitol Centre during the pandemic, taking part in the Wildcard series of virtual concerts in June. The duo is excited to perform through the Capitol Centre once again.

“We loved the concept behind the shared benefit concert series. We hope that we can help bring some donations to the Capitol Centre which is the cornerstone for great entertainment in North Bay, and perhaps raise a few dollars to help with the costs of our second album,” said band member Dayv Poulin.

cAbiners is a folk acoustic duo comprised of Poulin and Loni Konkal, who met in 2014 and began performing three years later. The two have produced one album together so far.

The Capitol Centre is inviting people to tune into its Facebook page on August 6 at 7 pm to watch the performance. The concert is free to watch with donations to the centre still being accepted. All proceeds get equally split between the venue and the artists.
