Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the minister of natural resources is endangering tourist camps in his riding. At issue is David Orazietti’s refusal to talk about the daily walleye catch limit on Lake Nipissing. Fedeli wants to know if the daily limit is dropping from two to one this summer, but the minister isn’t saying just yet. Fedeli says the silence is troubling for tourist operators who are now taking summer reservations. The Tory MPP is worried that if the minister reduces the catch limit with little warning the tourist owners will face a flood of cancellations.
