For the fifth consecutive day, Ontario is reporting fewer than 100 cases of COVID-19.
Deputy Premier and Minister of Health Christine Elliott tweeted the province added 88 new cases over the last day.
With 118 more resolved, Elliott says the persistent decline in active cases continues.
The province processed over 25,000 tests on Thursday.

Elliott says hospitalizations, ICU admissions and vented patients all declined.
Locally, 27 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases with 18 of them reporting no new cases at all.
No new deaths were reported over the last day leaving the death toll at 2,783.
The number of recovered patients in the province is now 36,024.
