A North Bay man is facing multiple charges after attacking a pair of people with bear spray.
On August 13, the North Bay Police Service was called to a parking lot on Main St. where an alleged altercation took place.
Police say that the accused threatened the two victims – one man and one woman – before spraying bear spray on their faces and fleeing on a bicycle.
Police arrested the accused later that same morning at his house. The two victims suffered minor injuries.
The 33-year-old man has been charged with:
- One count of Utter a Threat;
- Two counts of Assault with A Weapon;
- Two Counts of Administer Noxious Thing; and
- One count of breach of probation.
He is currently in police custody pending a bail hearing on August 17.
