The intersection of Highway 11/17 and Seymour St. will see lengthy traffic delays as construction continues in the area.
The project will close Highway 11/17 Northbound on Wednesday, September 9, and on Thursday, September 10, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The lane closure may also extend to Friday, Sept. 11, between 9 a.m. and noon, if required.
The City of North Bay press release provides three alternate routes to drivers:

vehicles travelling northbound on King’s Highway No. 17 detour onto Highway 94 towards Callander, then north to Lakeshore Drive to access the City’s road network to get to their destination

vehicles travelling northbound on King’s Highway No. 17 stay on the inside lane and travel south on King’s Highway No. 11 to the Lakeshore Drive off-ramp in order to access the City’s road network to get to their destination

vehicles travelling northbound on King’s Highway No. 11 should take the off-ramp at Lakeshore Drive in order to use the City’s road network, get to their destination
“The City of North Bay and MTO are aware of and appreciate the need to maintain traffic through the Highway 11/17 and Seymour Street corridors, but this necessary work must be completed responsibly and safely at all times,” the release states.
