A research project at Nipissing University is getting a big boost from the federal government.
Just over 545-thousand dollars is going towards the university’s Physical Health and Education research project.
The funding will be used to see how youth form social identities through their participation on sports teams.
The funding announcement was made by Nipissing-Timiskaming MP Jay Aspin yesterday.
“Research and innovation is the bedrock of the strong economic growth of our 21st
century economy,” said MP Jay Aspin. “I am pleased that Nipissing University is
attracting its share of research investment.”
