The Kate Pace Way will be closed between Lakeshore Dr. and Decaire Rd. for the next few weeks.
The bridge over La Vase River will be under construction as the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority replaces the timber bridge deck and surrounding fence.
There will be a detour posted along Lakeshore Dr., Riverbend Rd. and Decaire Rd. during the project.
The project is being partially funded through a grant from Trans Canada Trail to enhance this section of The Great Trail. The South Shore Restoule Snowmobile Club has also chipped in on the project.
Construction is expected to be completed by September 25.
