A 42-year-old North Bay man is facing four assault related charges after an argument with his wife allegedly turned violent. The fight happened shortly after midnight this morning, when the man reportedly threatened to harm the couple’s newborn baby.
When the wife fled into the other room the man allegedly followed, physically grabbing her and threatening her with a tool.
He has now been charged with four offences:-One count of child endangerment;
-One count of assault;
-One count of assault with a weapon; and
-One count of mischief.
-One count of assault;
-One count of assault with a weapon; and
-One count of mischief.
Police will not be naming the accused to protect the family’s identity.
