The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has issued a boil water advisory for all residents of Thorne, starting at 9 AM tomorrow. The boil water advisory is in place as routine maintenance is done at the Thorne Water Treatment Plant.
As work is being carried out, there will be no water for up to 2 hours. The Boil Water Advisory will remain in place after the water supply is restored.
During the boil water advisory, Thorne residents on the village’s water system should use boiled water to:
• Drink
• Brush their teeth
• Wash foods that will be eaten raw, such as fruits and vegetables
