As soon as Monday’s presentation was over at city council announcing the Summer in the Park line-up, the ticket purchases began. With the early bird wrist bands priced at $25 apiece, nearly every member of council bought wristbands.
In addition, John Strang, the chair of Summer in the Park, bought 10 wristbands. The committee will promote the August long weekend event very heavily locally and also hit Sudbury with a lot of advertising.
Ticket prices increase by $10 after May and go up again the month before the waterfront concerts.
