Over 4,000 fans packed into Memorial Gardens last night to cheer on our North Bay Battalion. They took a 2 to 1 double overtime win against the Oshawa Generals on home ice. This means they are up 2 games to 1 against Oshawa in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Battalion forward Ryan Kujawinski scored the game winning goal during last night’s Battalion game. Goalie Jake Smith was also able to stop 34 of 35 shots on net by Oshawa.
The Troops will be fighting for the 3 to 1 series lead in game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Memorial Gardens tonight. Game time is 7 PM.
