A person from North Bay is dead after an ATV collision over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon, North Bay OPP was called to investigate a single-vehicle collision involving an ATV in Phelps Township.
The police investigation revealed that the ATV had been driving on a snowmobile trail and veered off.
The North Bay resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the crash.
A postmortem examination is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
