A West Nipissing man was treated in hospital after police used force to subdue him. Police were arresting the 56-year-old on another matter when he started fighting with them. The cops had no choice but to use force when taking the man into custody and in the process he was hurt. In addition to the initial arrest offense, the accused is also charged with assaulting police.
