Investigation into human remains continues

For now the case of human remains found in a Sudbury creek during the weekend is staying in the hands of the coroner.  But if further testing reveals the man was killed, police will take over the case.  So far the corner hasn’t found anything suspicious about the death or any signs of trauma.

The remains belong to a First Nation man who was 30 to 50 years old.   The coroner says the face is in good enough shape that a photograph could help identify the person.

Police want anyone who know if someone is missing to call them to help with the identification.
