Former church re-zoning addresses parking concerns

A proposal to re-zone the former St. Rita’s Church, a rectory and vacant land has the green light from North Bay council.  The church and rectory are being re-developed into 12 apartment units and neighbours were concerned not enough parking was being allotted.  Nineteen was the original target but now the number of spaces has increased to 24 to alleviate concerns that vehicles would park on the street.  Also a 15-unit apartment building will be built on the vacant land.
