Gravelle not giving up on national dementia strategy

Nickel Belt MP Claude Gravelle says one day Canada will have a national dementia strategy.  The New Democrat was reacting to the Harper Tories using their majority to defeat his Private Member’s Bill.

The proposal lost by a single vote and Gravelle says some Tories supported it.  Looking ahead to the October federal election, Gravelle says Canadians need to elect a new government that will provide sound health policies.

Gravelle’s mother has Alzheimer’s and she’s served as an inspiration to the federal New Democrat to pursue a national dementia strategy.
