Over 76-thousand elementary public school teachers in Ontario will take work-to-rule job action today.
Teachers are expected to stop performing their administrative duties, which includes E-Q-A-O testing, writing comments on report cards, and other education ministry-mandated activities. The strike will not affect exta-curriculars, graduations, or field trips.
The teachers strike does not include early childhood educations, or education support personnel. Up to 800-thousand students across 32 school boards will be affected by the job action.
