One Kids Place will be offering summer camps to children with autism this year, thanks to a generous donation from some community heroes. Mark and Steve Deacon announced yesterday that they are donating 100-thousand dollars to the organization.
The seven week camp program will be completely free, and will be held in North Bay, New Liskeard, and Timmins. Children will the opportunity to learn and play in a safe and welcoming environment. Those interested can find more information at www.onekidsplace.ca.
