North Bay Police responded to over 300 calls over the long weekend. They arrested eight people with a variety of offences, public drunkiness and breach of probation.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested for uttering threats and assault after he allegedly abused his partner after a night of drinking at a friend’s house downtown. The victim had non-life threatening injuries.
A 31-year-old North Bay man was also busted on Saturday night for breach of probation, and ended up assaulting a police officer during the arrest. The officer had non-life threatening injuries from the attack.
