It’s a sure sign of summer. North Bay Police Service’s bicycle patrol officers will be back on the streets, pathways, and trails around North Bay and Callander come June 1st. Â Their job is to patrol the city’s downtown and waterfront area, along with secluded areas such as trails and alleyways. They will also be at community events during the summer time. The bike program wraps up on September 1st. You might notice police on bikes today because they are in training.
