Fifty per cent of all Canadian women 16 and over have experienced at least one incident of violence, half of those by men they knew. That’s just once of the reasons North Bay Police, along with Amelia Rising are holding a “No One Asks For It” walk tonight in North Bay.
The walk is held every May during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, to raise public awareness of on the effects of sexual violence. The walk begins at 6 at the corner of Main and Fraser Street.
